Here’s the recipe I use for our holiday Snickerdoodles! Enjoy!


1 cup butter or margarine

1 ½ cups sugar

2 eggs

3-3 ¾ cups flour

2 tsp. cream of tartar

¾ tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

Heat oven to 400◦ Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix cinnamon and sugar, roll balls in before baking. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, immediately remove from baking sheet.
