Wearing my clothes – Day #28

This sweater is from J.Jill. This is the only purchase I’ve ever made there. I was shopping for something to wear for pictures when I was about 4 1/2 months pregnant, you know…that awkward stage. I didn’t end up wearing it for pictures, but still like the sweater. I’ve worn these jeans before, but didn’t mention the brand. They’re Kut brand. Super comfortable! And the shoes are white wedges from Famous Footwear I believe. The jewelry is from Premiere Jewelry. Love the necklace! It’s very versatile.

By the way…when I’m at home, I throw on my good ‘ol slippies and usually take off jewelry. Otherwise I’m trying to dodge my daughter’s grasp on necklaces and earrings. But, I do like wearing them while out and about. =) Speaking of my daughter, I’ve got to run. She’s chatting away loudly in her crib. *sigh* Naptime comes and goes so quickly.

Wearing my clothes – Day #27

This was what I wore to church this morning. I took a risk and wore the blazer with this Calvin Klein dress I bought at Ross. I got the dress a few years back for Easter. It’s so well made! The shoes are from Payless. I love the navy with the yellow! Not lovin’ the blazer so much though. I keep trying to like it, but not sure that I do. I’ll maybe try it one more time with something else. It’s Apt. 9 I believe from Kohl’s.

Then..we went to the park. It’s gorgeous out today where we live! Okay, so I wore the dress and heels to Costco after church, but to the park? Absolutely not! So I changed into… Much more park appropriate. Here’s proof at the park…we had a blast! My poor daughter’s belly…perpetually hanging out. Cute though! Love the static hair from the slide, too. =)

Oh yeah…the “stats”. The shirt was from TJMaxx, gotta love when you actually find a T-shirt long enough to cover you. The jeans are Levi from Costco, shoes are Rocket Dog from Ross. I was a bit hesitant wearing the shirt, it’s snug! But despite my lack of exercise, I think I can pull it off. I was super comfortable at least.

This sweater is from Macy’s…gotta give a big kudos to my MIL. It was a Christmas gift. Way to go! The undershirt is a Lauren Conrad tank top from Kohl’s. Pants are Guess from Macy’s. And the shoes are ankle high boots from Marshall’s.

Pinned it, Did it! – Goldfish Snack

Saw this idea on Pinterest and knew I had to do it without question! We eat cuties and blueberries DAILY in our house! So, I whipped one up for Cooper. Unfortunately, we’d eaten up all our fresh blueberries the day before, so I resorted to some frozen ones we use for smoothies. Cooper actually loved the change of pace!

AND, the clincher? He ate the ENTIRE cutie, plus half another one! This boy loves cuties, don’t get me wrong, but he’s been lazy in finishing them lately. The “cuteness” of his snack motivated him. Yay! Mission accomplished!

Here he is enjoying… So far, I’ve only had time for SUPER EASY “cute” snacks, and this one qualified for sure! Easy Peasy folks.

Wearing my clothes – Day #25

This is starting to get funny. I’ve seen a couple friends recently, and they already know what I’m gonna look like when they see me ‘cuz I’ve already posted. =)

Also, I’ve had a couple people ask if I’m re-wearing pants. HECK YEAH! No way do I have 25 pairs of pants or do I?! Nah. But, so far, it’s been a different shirt every day.

So, here’s the lowdown for today…

The necklace is from Old Navy, I doubled it up, normally it’s long. The sweater is from Marshall’s I believe? I almost didn’t buy it, that weird bust-line pull sort of bugs me, you know what I’m talking about ladies! The undershirt is also from Marshall’s, it’s strictly an undershirt, it’s sheer. Super comfy though! Pants are my “skinny jeans” – Angel brand. And the boots, ready to laugh? I bought them a few years ago for a Pirate costume, justifying that they’re cute as is for normal day wear, too! Which I think they are, don’t you? Check out the old pic from my pirate costume…wow!I know you can’t see the boots, but they’d go well, right? Hilarious! I love my husband’s pirate face. =) 

I’m thinking I might do a recap on day #30, and give a hint at how many more days may be to come as if I know! Stay tuned. =)

Wearing my clothes – Day #24

I was supposed to go to a MOPS park day today, but apparently we’re doomed because 2 of 3 that we’ve scheduled have been rained on. And we haven’t had a ton of rain this winter. Anywho…I needed to dress warm. And this sweater is nice and cozy!

The sweater is from Anthropologie. I think it was my second purchase from the store. Like I’ve mentioned, I shop there rarely because it tends to be pricey. I purchased the sweater after losing my baby weight from my first. Sort of a “Yay me!” treat. It was one of those times when (we’ve ALL had them) I was determined to spend money, and had a difficult time finding something I liked. I’m still not INLOVE with the sweater, but I like it. It’s different. =)

Jeans are from Marshall’s, I like the detail on the back because it helps me look like I have a booty. Shoes are Ross.

I’m still happy to be posting pics from my closet! I’m glad I started this “journey”. =)
